Baking: Quark Crumble Cake (Mecklenburg)

  • 150 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 75 g Butter
  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Wheat flour type 550
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 500 g Quark
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 packet Cream pudding powder
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Semolina
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g Raisins
  • 125 g Lemon juice
  1. Make sprinkles from butter, flour, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Fill half of it into a loaf pan lined with baking paper or foil and bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees in a preheated oven.
  2. In the meantime, mix the milk with the pudding powder and bring to the boil. Add quark semolina, a pinch of salt, sugar, lemon juice and raisins and bring to the boil while stirring.
  3. Spread the quark filling on the floor.
  4. Mix the rest of the crumble dough again with a tablespoon of flour and spread the crumble on the quark. Bake again for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  5. Let the cake cool completely in the tin. Lift out of the mold and remove the foil and enjoy.
