Banana Cappuccino Sponge Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g margarine (half-fat margarine)
  • 100 g cream cheese, 5% fat
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tbsp coffee powder (cappuccino powder with chocolate flavor)
  • 150 ml buttermilk or yogurt
  • 80 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Low-fat

Beat the low-fat margarine with the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Mash the bananas and stir them in well along with the cappuccino powder, buttermilk, and chocolate sprinkles. Combine the flour and baking powder and fold in. Pour the batter into a greased bundt cake pan and bake at 170°C for about 55 minutes. After baking, let the cake rest briefly in the pan, then turn it out and let it cool. Decorate with powdered sugar, if desired.
