Banana Shake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 small bananas
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 400 ml milk, cold

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 3 minutes

with different variations – preparation suitable for mixer and blender

Place the peeled bananas in a blender (1 banana per person). Then add the sugar and milk. Put the lid on the blender and puree. Pour into four glasses and serve. Variations: For a banana-mango shake, add 100g–400g of peeled sweet mangoes. For a banana-strawberry shake, add approximately 10 to 20 sweet strawberries. For a banana-watermelon shake, add 5 tablespoons of watermelon. Tips: You can make a banana shake with virtually any fruit imaginable. However, when making it with apples, pears, etc., I would be careful to consume it immediately after preparation, otherwise, different layers will form after just a few minutes. With a normal banana shake, oxidation will become apparent after about 10–15 minutes; it will turn brown. If you don’t have cold milk available, you can also put 6-12 ice cubes in the blender – but this is not recommended for the hand blender alternative, as the blades become blunt more quickly.
