Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg pork (pork belly), rind cut in a diamond shape
- 1 kg potatoes, cut lengthwise into quarters
- salt and pepper
- Caraway seeds
- 2 onions, coarsely sliced
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place the potatoes and onions in a large baking dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Place the meat on top, season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Pour in a small cup of water and bake in an oven preheated to 225°C for about 2 hours. If the crust browns too quickly, reduce the temperature to 200°C. Serve with a cold beer.
