Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 cup(s) ketchup (large cups)
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar (large cup)
- 3 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion granules
- 2 tbsp smoked salt (hickory)
- 3 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tbsp pepper
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
for beef, pork, burgers. Makes approx. 1 liter
Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse jam jars or preserving jars with hot water (including the lids). Now, don’t wipe the insides or touch them with your fingers. I also rinse funnels and ladles. Pour the hot sauce into the containers and seal them immediately. This way, the sauce will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks. You can also add bourbon or, if using game, red wine.
