American BBQ sauce, goes with everything

Combine the Worcestershire sauce with the chopped onions in a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer with the brown sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Add oil if it thickens too much. The sauce will keep well for several weeks if tightly covered in the refrigerator. It tastes great with grilled meat, sausages, etc. We also use it on bread, for example, on roast meats.
