Bircher Muesli – Luxury version with addictive potential

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp spelt
  • 2 tbsp buckwheat
  • 200 g sweet cream
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 50 g raisins, unsulfured
  • 1 tbsp apricot(s), dried, finely diced
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 1 banana(s), diced
  • 1 cup fresh fruit of your choice (strawberries are especially delicious)
  • ¼ vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • 1 tsp ascorbic acid (vitamin C powder)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes

Soak the spelt and buckwheat in water the night before. Rinse thoroughly in a fine sieve the next morning. In the morning, combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix. Add the grains and mix.
