Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 12 slices of ham
- 1 can/n salsify
- 500 ml cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 100 g Emmental cheese, grated
- 100 g Sbrinz, grated
- salt and pepper
- cognac
- Paprika powder
- curry powder
- some parsley
- Butter for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Riechener Art
Halve the ham slices. Drain the salsify and wrap each (or several) in half a ham slice. Place in a buttered casserole dish. Whisk together the cream, egg yolk, and grated cheese. Season to taste. Add a few dashes of cognac to taste. Pour everything over the salsify and ham rolls. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with cooked rice.
