Blackberry chocolate jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg blackberries
  • 1 bar of dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 500 g gelling sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Run the blackberries through a food mill to remove too many seeds from the fruit mixture. Alternatively, chop the blackberries in a blender or with a hand blender and then pass them through a fine sieve. This yields approximately 850 g of fruit mixture. Mix this fruit mixture with the gelling sugar and the previously finely chopped chocolate and heat gently. Let it boil for 4 minutes, then pour into jars, seal, and let cool upside down. Tip: You can also use plums instead of blackberries.
