Blackcurrant jam with almonds and rum

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g currants
  • 100 g almond flakes or ground almonds
  • 125 ml rum
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Puree the currants. Add the almonds. Add the gelling sugar. Bring to a boil and add the rum. Simmer briefly, test for settling, and pour into sterile jars.
