- 500 g currants, black
- 1 banana(s)
- n. B. Gelling sugar (according to package instructions)

Wash the currants and remove the stems. Place them in a saucepan and mash or puree. Mash the bananas until smooth and add to the currants. Weigh out enough gelling sugar to match the weight of the fruit and add it. Bring the fruit puree to a boil and simmer for about 4 minutes. Pour into screw-top jars while still hot and seal immediately. Allow to cool.
