Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 orange(s)
- 325 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 275 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 1 pack of gelatin powder (instant gelatin)
- 500 g yogurt
- 400 g whipped cream
- 1 pack of cake glaze, clear
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 5 oranges (blood oranges)
- 250 ml juice (blood orange juice)
- Grease for the tray
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 40 minutes
Sheet cake
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Juice the orange. Cream the butter with 200g of sugar. Stir in the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Stir in the orange juice. Spread the batter onto a greased baking sheet and bake for approx. 10-15 minutes. Allow the base to cool completely. Mix the yogurt with 125g of sugar. Whisk the cream until stiff and fold in. Stir in the gelatin powder. Peel 2 blood oranges, slice them, and spread them on the base. Spread the yogurt cream on top and chill for approx. 2 hours. Peel the remaining blood oranges, slice them, and spread them on top of the cream. Prepare the icing according to the package instructions using 2 tablespoons of sugar and the blood orange juice and spread it on the cake. Chill the slices for another 30 minutes.
