Blueberry jam with lemon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 900 g berries (blueberries or blackberries)
  • 100 ml lemon juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • Lemon zest (optional), grated (alternatively Citro-Back)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Sort and wash the berries (freshly picked, of course). Combine them in a saucepan with the gelling sugar and lemon juice and boil gently for about 5 minutes. If desired, add grated lemon zest or a little Citro-Back. Then pour the mixture into boiled twist-off jars while still hot, screw on the lids, and let stand upside down for 5 minutes.
