Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg sweet cherries, pitted
- 500 g banana(s) (approx. 4-5 pieces)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 350 g gelling sugar (2:1)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 5 tbsp Amaretto
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes
Halve the cherries if they’re too large. Peel the bananas and cut into small pieces. Then place all ingredients in a pot and let them steep for about 2-3 hours. Bring everything to a boil briefly and simmer for about 5-8 minutes. While still hot, pour into prepared twist-off jars, seal immediately, and then let them cool upside down.
