Gooseberry – Peach – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g gooseberries
  • 500 g peach(s)
  • 100 ml dry white wine (e.g. Riesling)
  • 1 kg sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with white wine

Wash and hull the gooseberries. Wash, pit, and roughly chop the peaches. Place them in a saucepan with the sugar and bring to a boil. Stir regularly and simmer until the fruit dissolves. Then add the white wine and purée the mixture. Bring back to a boil and simmer for another 20 minutes. While still hot, pour into tightly sealed, prepared jars. Tip: Add a little ginger for an even spicier flavor, if you like.
