quick and tasty

Halve the peppers, remove the seeds and white inner membranes. Then wash and drain. Heat a frying pan and add the olive oil. Add the prepared peppers and chili powder to the pan and sauté over high heat for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat, add salt and pepper, cover, and simmer gently. It will take about 6-8 minutes for the peppers to soften (taste well). Add a squeeze of lemon juice and the cooking cream, and bring back to a boil.
