Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 burger buns with sesame
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 6 large tomatoes
  • 1 oak leaf lettuce, green
  • 4 mustard pickles from the jar
  • 3 tbsp mustard, medium or hot
  • 3 tbsp salad cream (Miracel Whip)
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • some rapeseed oil
  • 16 small sausages (poultry sausages)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onions and slice into rings. Rinse and slice the tomatoes. Trim, wash, and spin dry the lettuce. Drain the cucumbers, reserving the juices, and slice the cucumbers. Mix the mustard with Miracle Whip, curry powder, pepper, and a little cucumber juice to a cream. Heat a little rapeseed oil in a pan and fry the sausages. Cut open the burger buns and toast them cut-side up under the oven grill until crispy. Then first spread the cream on the bottom halves and top with the lettuce leaves, sausages, tomato and cucumber slices, and onion rings. Then spread the cream on the top halves and place them on top.
