Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 sausages
- 2 tbsp corn oil
- 1 small onion(s)
- ½ small apple
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 pinch of chili powder
- 1 tsp instant bouillon powder
- 1 tbsp sauce thickener, dark
- salt and pepper
- possibly sugar
- ¼ liter of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Fry the sausages in hot germ oil. Then remove and keep warm. Peel and slice the onion, finely grate the apple. Fry the onion and apple in the remaining frying fat until golden brown. Add the tomato paste and sauté. Sprinkle with curry powder, paprika, and chili powder. Pour in 1/4 liter of water. Bring to a boil and add the broth. Stir in the sauce thickener and simmer for 1 minute. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and sugar, if desired. Tip: For extra heat, add half a finely chopped chili pepper.
