Bread & Rolls: Sunflowers – Spelled – Bread
The perfect bread & rolls: sunflowers – spelled – bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 dice Yeast
- 300 ml Lukewarm water
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp ***********
- 1 tsp Salt
- 350 g Spelled flour
- 1 tsp Bread spice mix
- 3 handful Sunflower seeds
- Mix the yeast, water and sugar together and let rest for about 30 minutes … until it bubbles.
- Then add the flour, the salt (I use my vegetable salt) and the bread spices, mix everything well and let rise for about 1 to 1.5 hours, cover the bowl with a towel.
- Then work in the sunflower seeds, put the dough in an oiled mold (I prefer my silicone snowman because it is quite flat) and bake the bread in the 200 degree oven at 170 degrees for about 50 to 60 minutes.
- Then let the bread cool on a rack.
