Bread: Sunflower Seed Bread

Ingredients
 

  • 250 g Flour 550
  • 250 g Durum wheat flour
  • 0,75 cube Yeast
  • 1 packet Sourdough
  • 2 tbsp Baking malt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 300 ml Kefir or sour cream
  • 150 g Sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast the kernels in a pan. Put the flour and the baking malt in a bowl. Crumble the yeast and add to the flour, also salt, sugar, sourdough and oil.
  • Heat the kefir slightly and add everything to a dough with the food processor and stir for 4 minutes. Take out the dough and keep folding it by hand for about 8 minutes. Put in a bowl and let rise for 2 hours.
  • Now add the sunflower seeds and work the dough through again, shape into a ball, place on a baking sheet, cover and let rise for another hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 210 C ° (no fan oven) and bake the bread for 45 minutes. Let cool on a rack.
