Börek with Cheese Filling

The perfect börek with cheese filling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pack Yufka pastry sheets
  • 400 g Sheep cheese
  • 1 bunch Fresh smooth parsley
  • 500 gr Natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Eggs
  • Sunflower oil
  • Sesame fresh
  1. Finely chop the parsley, crumble the feta cheese and mix the two well. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and cover the bottom with yufka leaves. Spread some oil over it and sprinkle a layer of cheese over it. Repeat this 2-3 times until the last layer is covered with Yufka leaves again. Whisk the yoghurt with the eggs and spread over the Börek so that everything is nicely covered. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. After baking, cut into small squares and serve warm or cold. This is best served with tea or ayran 🙂 and if you still want, with a nice salad!
