Buckwheat grain and apple breakfast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g buckwheat
  • 300 g milk
  • 1 apple
  • e.g. sugar or agave syrup
  • possibly cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Simmer the buckwheat grains with the milk for 20 minutes, then let them swell until they reach the desired firmness. Season to taste with sugar and/or agave syrup. Add cinnamon if desired. Wash, core, and slice the apple. Serve the buckwheat mixture and apples in bowls. Serve warm or cold for breakfast or a snack.
