Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 75 g buckwheat, whole
- 300 ml vegetable stock
- 100 g butter
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 small red bell pepper(s)
- 1 sprig parsley or chives, chopped
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Simmer the buckwheat with 300 ml vegetable broth for half an hour. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and bell pepper. Let the buckwheat cool slightly and then add the butter. Then add the onion and bell pepper. Season with fresh herbs and salt and pepper to taste. Tastes especially good on fresh farmhouse bread.
