Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g mushrooms, from the can or jar, 1st choice
- 200 g extra fine peas
- 212 ml asparagus (asparagus tips), from the jar
- Water from the asparagus jar
- 20 g bacon, diced, fat
- 1 small onion(s), diced
- 1 tbsp red wine
- some sauce thickener, dark
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
For those who find mushrooms alone too boring
Brown the bacon. Add the onions, not over-browning. Then add the sliced mushrooms, peas, and asparagus water. Cut the asparagus tips into approximately 3 cm long pieces and bring to a boil. Add the red wine and then thicken with the sauce thickener. Simmer everything for a few more minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar.
