not only a delicious recipe for winter, for about 20 pieces
Make a sponge cake batter from the dough ingredients. Mix all ingredients until smooth and bake in a loaf pan at 160 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes. It goes a little faster in the refrigerator, or bake the batter the day before. Shape the dough into small balls. Place them on a plate and place in the freezer for 15 minutes. Melt the Candy Melts in a saucepan, stirring constantly, or in the microwave. If melting in the microwave, don’t melt them all at once, as they will burn easily. Remove the balls from the freezer and thread them onto wooden skewers. It’s best to stick the skewers into Styrofoam. Dip each ball into the white Candy Melts. Once all the balls are coated, spread the slightly cooled blue Melt over the white balls with a spoon or piping bag. If you like, sprinkle desiccated coconut on the still-liquid Melt. Let the cake pops cool slightly and then serve.
