Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g cherry(s) (jar), unsweetened
- 20 ml rum (approx. a small shot glass)
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 225 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 250 g low-fat yogurt
- 60 ml milk, low-fat
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 vanilla pod(s)

Drain the cherries. Then drizzle with rum and let stand for about 10 minutes. Melt the sugar in a pan, add the cherries, and stir to candied consistency. Mix the quark with yogurt, milk, and vanilla sugar. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds with a knife, and stir in. Serve the candied cherries with vanilla cream.
