Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg cranberries, washed and sorted
- 800 g sugar
- 60 ml water
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with roast beef or game, with waffles and pancakes
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer uncovered over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The berries shouldn’t be all squashed, but there should still be recognizable berries (no mush). Immediately pour into jars. Seal the jars and turn them upside down for about 10 minutes. Then turn them upside down and let them cool. The lid should bulge inward.
