Caramel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of espresso
  • 120 ml milk, low-fat UHT milk
  • ½ tbsp liqueur (coffee liqueur)
  • ½ tbsp syrup (caramel syrup)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Espresso in milk foam with coffee liqueur and caramel syrup

Pour the coffee liqueur into a medium-tall, not-too-narrow glass (e.g., a whiskey glass). Froth the milk into a nice, firm froth and pour it into the glass on top of the liqueur. Pour a cup of freshly brewed espresso into the froth along the rim of the glass. Now drizzle the caramel syrup onto the froth. Serve, stirring well. You can sweeten the caramello if desired, but the syrup is already sweet enough after stirring. The caramello also makes a lovely end to a delicious meal.
