Chai Latte Tea

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml water
  • 2 tea bags (chai tea)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp clove powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 cup milk, warm

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the water in a small saucepan and boil the tea bags. Add the cinnamon stick, ginger, and cloves and bring to a boil. Remove the tea bag, add the sugar, and simmer until syrupy. Warm the milk or froth it to your liking, then add about 5 tablespoons of the syrup and enjoy. The leftover syrup can’t be kept in the refrigerator for too long.
