Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup processed cheese
  • 1 package of Scheibletten (processed cheese slices)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

also suitable for cheese fountains

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat slowly over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is completely melted and has reached a nice, creamy consistency. While warm, the dip will be quite runny, but it will thicken as it cools. The warm dip is also perfect for a cheese fountain. We converted a chocolate fountain with a heating function. It goes great with a fresh baguette or nachos.
