Chef's salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 150 g ham, cooked
  • Salt
  • black pepper
  • Vinegar
  • oil
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the eggs hard and let cool. Wash the iceberg lettuce, drain and tear into small pieces or cut into wide strips with a knife. Cut the Emmental cheese and ham into strips. Wash the tomatoes and cut into wedges, peel the cucumber and slice them. Cut the cooled eggs into eighths. Arrange all the ingredients, except the eggs, in a large bowl or on individual plates. Mix a spicy marinade from salt, vinegar, pepper and oil and drizzle over the salad. Decorate with the boiled eggs and parsley. Tip: Instead of the vinegar and oil marinade, you can also, depending on your taste, make a salad dressing from 3-4 tablespoons of salad cream, 1 teaspoon of mustard, salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar and a little oil and fold it into the salad ingredients.
