Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 400 g margarine
  • 400 g sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 jar cherry(s)
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • ½ package of powdered sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • some cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Sheet cake

Mix flour, soft margarine, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and eggs into a smooth batter. Stir the cocoa powder into half of the batter. Spread both batters onto a baking sheet, first the light batter, then the dark batter. Drain the cherries in a sieve, then scatter them over the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30 minutes. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to the package instructions, but without the sugar. Finally, stir in the powdered sugar and butter. Spread the pudding on the cooled cake. Sift the cocoa powder over the cake.
