Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g cherries
- 300 g strawberries
- 250 ml grape juice
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 20 g cornstarch
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Wash, pit, and halve the cherries. Wash and quarter the strawberries. Mix about 6 tablespoons of the grape juice with the cornstarch. Briefly bring the fruit, vanilla sugar, and remaining juice to a boil in a saucepan, stir in the cornstarch and bring to a boil. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Serve with baked chocolate cakes or simply with whipped cream.
