Jacket potatoes – especially spicy

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 tbsp, leveled sea salt
  • 1 tsp, leveled caraway seeds, whole

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the potatoes, brush them lightly if necessary, and place them in a pot of well-salted water. Add the caraway seeds and simmer for about 20 minutes. These boiled potatoes are a great side dish thanks to their tangy flavor, but they can also be used to make fried potatoes or potato salad. It simply tastes wonderfully aromatic, with absolutely no hint of caraway (for those who don’t like that).
