Chicken wings in apricot sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 150 ml orange lemonade
  • 150 g apricot jam
  • 50 g mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp cola
  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Deseed and finely chop the chili pepper. Peel and press the garlic. Mix both with orange soda, apricot jam, mustard, soy sauce, and cola. Wash the chicken wings, pat dry with paper towels, and marinate for 1 hour, turning occasionally. Then remove the wings from the marinade and season with salt and pepper. Place them on the grill for 10-15 minutes, turning once. The highlight: Heat the marinade in a saucepan and refine it with the sour cream. Unbeatable with the wings.
