Chicory Salad with Apple

The perfect chicory salad with apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 greater Fresh chicory
  • 1 Apple Elstar
  • 1 Orange zest and juice
  • 1 tbsp Curry oil
  • 1 tbsp Pine nuts
  • Chilli from the mill
  1. Wash the orange and apple well, rub the orange peel, then squeeze the fruit.
  2. Core the apple, cut into eighths and cut into slices.
  3. Cut out the stalk from the chicory, then quarter the chicory lengthways and cut it down.
  4. Mix everything in a bowl with seasoning oil. As an alternative to the curry oil, use some curry powder and any oil.
  5. Fold in the pine nuts and season with chilli.
  6. Let it cool and season to taste again.
