Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • 250 g meat sausage in one piece
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 250 ml broth
  • rosemary
  • Thyme
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fast food with a difference

Dice the sausage, chop the onion and garlic. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Sauté the diced onion and garlic in the olive oil until translucent. Add the sausage cubes and fry until nicely browned. Stir in the tomato paste and sweat briefly. Dust with flour and deglaze with the stock. Bring to a boil briefly and sprinkle in the herbs. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve immediately with the pasta. We used to have this simple dish whenever Mom didn’t feel like cooking. We kids loved it.
