Chili – Chocolate – Salt

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g sea salt or other salt
  • 3 chili pepper(s), dried
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, heavily deoiled

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spice mix, to be enjoyed with caution, very suitable as a gift

Grind the chili peppers and mix with the remaining ingredients. Transfer to a clean, dry jar and store in a dark place. The salt will keep for about 12 months. Please only make small batches. This salt is ideal for Mexican cuisine, for seasoning chicken or shrimp, and can also be used to delicately refine chili con carne. Your imagination is the limit. Since the flavors are very volatile, it’s recommended to season sparingly just before the end of cooking.
