Chocolate Banana Wreath
The perfect chocolate banana wreath recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Margarine
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla sugar
- 4 Egg yolk
- 4 Ripe bananas, medium-sized
- 2 cl Rum
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 100 g Grated chocolate
- 50 g Ground nuts
- 250 g Sifted flour
- 4 Protein
- Mix the margarine, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Fold in the egg yolks one at a time.
- Mash the bananas with a fork and mix with the rum.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, nuts and the grated chocolate.
- Now mix the banana and flour mixture into the margarine alternately. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Grease a wreath shape, pour in the mass. Preheat the oven (fan oven 160 °, electric stove 180 °) and bake for about 30 minutes. Carry out a cooking test with the wooden stick.
- Remove from the mold, dust with powdered sugar or cover with chocolate icing.
