Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 750 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 45 g yeast
- 90 g butter
- 350 g water
- 2 m.-sized eggs
- 50 g white chocolate
- 2 bars of chocolate
- 150 g chocolate coating
- 50 g butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes
Weigh the flour, yeast, and sugar and place them in a bowl. Add the water and knead with the eggs and butter to form a dough. Grate the white chocolate and stir it into the dough. The dough should no longer be sticky for further processing. If necessary, you can add more flour. Once the dough is ready, cover it and let it rest for an hour. Break the chocolate bars into pieces. Flatten a handful of dough, place a piece of chocolate on top, and then shape into a ball. Repeat this process until all the dough is used up. Place the balls on a baking tray. Place the filled tray in the oven for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, melt the chocolate coating with the butter in a double boiler. It should form a nice runny mixture. Once the chocolate rolls are baked, cover them with the chocolate glaze. Now all you have to do is cool and let it set.
