guaranteed success

Preheat the cake pop maker. Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy, then add the melted margarine and milk and mix thoroughly. Briefly fold in the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt, stirring just until all the ingredients are blended. Spray the cake pop maker with baking spray and unplug the power cord. Only then fill each hole to the brim with a small spoon. Close the lid, plug in the power cord, and bake for 5-5.5 minutes. After this baking time, unplug the device. Remove the baked cake balls and refill the holes. Continue baking as described until the batter is used up. I made about 3.5 batches. The cake balls bake more evenly and become beautifully rounded by interrupting the heat.
