Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g butter, soft
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 80 g milk chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 80 g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar or the pulp of a vanilla pod
  • Flour for the baking sheet

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 42 minutes

Cream the butter with sugar and salt until fluffy. Stir the vanilla sugar or vanilla seeds into the buttercream with the beaten egg. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the buttercream along with the chopped chocolate. Knead everything into a soft dough, cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven). Cover a baking tray with baking paper or foil and dust with flour. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and place them well apart on the baking tray. Bake the cookies in the hot oven for about 12 minutes. Tip: It’s best to place the dough balls well apart on the baking tray so that you have at least 2, preferably 3, sheets.
