Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 egg(s)

- 250 g chocolate, whole milk, roughly chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
USA original, like at Starbucks, makes about 24 pieces
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix the butter, sugar, and salt vigorously with a hand mixer. Now add the egg, flour, and baking powder and mix well until a firm dough forms. Fold in the chocolate, reserving 4 tablespoons. Using two teaspoons, shape the dough into balls about 3 cm in diameter and place them on two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Make sure there is enough space between the dough balls, as the cookies will be quite large. Sprinkle the balls with the remaining chocolate chips. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes (the cookies should remain light in color) and let cool completely on the baking sheet (they will still be very soft when warm). Best served fresh once well chilled.
