Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream (can also be Amaretto or brandy)
  • 200 g fresh fruit (pineapple, mandarins, strawberries, grapes, apples, bananas)
  • 100 g dried fruit (apricots, dates, apple rings)
  • 50 g biscuits (wafer rolls or butter biscuits) or marshmallows
  • possibly nuts, chopped or desiccated coconut or chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pure pampering for guests or family

Prepare all the fruit in bite-sized pieces. Finely chop the chocolate. Bring the cream to a boil, pour it over the chocolate, and whisk until smooth. Flavor with alcohol. Then place it in a fondue pot or a bowl in a hot water bath to keep the chocolate warm and liquid. If desired, dip the fresh or dried fruit or cookies into the chocolate using fondue forks or wooden skewers. Place on baking paper to dry, or dip the chocolate skewers in chopped nuts, peanuts, coconut flakes, or chocolate shavings and then let them dry. Of course, you can also eat them straight away without drying them!
