Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 handful of leaves
  • 100 g chocolate coating to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

homemade cake or dessert garnish

Rose or bay leaves, or other deeply grained, non-toxic leaves without fluff or thorns, are best for this preparation. Wash the leaves and pat them dry thoroughly. Gently warm the chocolate coating in a water bath and brush it onto the underside of the leaves. The more carefully you work, the finer the result will be. Place them on a baking sheet or over a rolling pin to dry. Carefully peel off the green leaves, and your homemade chocolate leaves are ready for decorating and garnishing.
