Chocolate Marzipan Cake
The perfect chocolate marzipan cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the chocolate cream:
- 1 Marzipan cream see KB
- 150 g Couverture whole milk
- 150 g Dark chocolate couverture
- 400 ml Cream
- 2 packet Cream stiffener
- Bake a chocolate cake base. Recipe: Cake Kit – Chocolate Cake Base After cooling, divide the cake base into 3 bases.
- Make marzipan cream: Recipe: Cake kit – marzipan cream
Chocolate cream:
- Chop the two couvertures. Heat the cream, do not boil it. Dissolve the chopped couverture in the cream. Let the chocolate cream cool well in the refrigerator. I chilled it overnight.
- Whip the cold chocolate cream, pour in the stiffener. Whip solane until it has a nice volume.
Completion:
- Place the bottom cake base on a cake plate and place a cake ring around it. Spread about 1/3 of the chocolate cream on the base, then place the second cake base on top. Spread the marzipan cream on this cake base and then place the last cake base on top. put the cake and the rest of the chocolate cream in the refrigerator for a while. When it has cooled a little, carefully loosen the cake ring. Cover the cake with the chocolate cream, if there is not enough cream, whip some cream until stiff and fold in. Then decorate the cake with cream tuffs, chocolate flakes or other decorative elements as you like.
- Chill again before consumption.
