  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 120 g sugar, brown, light brown
  • 150 g dark chocolate (chopped or chopped)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 6 tbsp oil (sunflower oil) or
  • 90 g butter, melted, cooled
  • Paper cups or
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Super-delicious and super-chocolaty muffins – always a hit. Makes 12

First, preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Place the paper baking cups in the muffin tins or grease the tin. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt, and the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (cheaper!) and mix everything thoroughly. Next, beat the eggs in a mixing bowl until lightly foamy, then add the milk and finally the oil until lightly foamy. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Now everything has to move a little quickly: Mix everything briefly until the batter looks even (max. 1 minute). Quickly spoon the batter into the tins. Bake for 20 minutes. Do not open the door during this time; let cool for 5 minutes after the 20 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack or simply bite into one and enjoy. The muffins taste best fresh and warm (while the chocolate is still liquid). Just put them in the microwave for a short time the next day and they will taste just as good.
