Chocolate pudding that's addictive

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 125 ml water
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 375 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

just like grandma makes it, of course without a bag

Bring the milk to a boil with butter and salt. Meanwhile, combine the cornstarch with the water, cocoa, and sugar. Remove the milk from the heat and stir in the cocoa-sugar mixture. Return it to the heat, bring it to a boil, and simmer for one minute. Pour into a dish rinsed with cold water and refrigerate. I put everything in small pudding molds so the kids don’t argue about who gets more or less. Another tip: You can avoid the skin that forms during cooling by placing cling film directly over the pudding.
