Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 240 g dark chocolate coating
  • 60 g butter
  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g almond(s), ground
  • 100 g almond(s), chopped
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 50 g chocolate, (whole milk) chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the chocolate coating and melt it with the butter in a bain-marie, then let it cool slightly. Beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, bitter almond flavoring, and salt until frothy, then fold in the soft chocolate mixture. Carefully fold the almonds, chopped chocolate, and the flour mixed with baking powder and gingerbread spice into the frothy mixture, stirring only as much as necessary. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Scoop out teaspoonfuls of dough and place them, spaced apart, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 10 to 12 minutes; do not allow it to brown.
