Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 ml orange juice
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 1 tea bag (cabin dream)
  • 1 pack of mulled wine spices (Glühfix)
  • 1 cinnamon stick(s)
  • 3 star anise
  • 2 strips of organic lemon peel
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • ½ pack of Gelfix extra
  • ½ pack citric acid or 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Heat the juices with the spices and let them steep for a few minutes. Meanwhile, mix the gelling sugar with the gelling sugar and citric acid and rinse the jam jars with hot water. Remove the two tea bags. Add the gelling sugar to the liquid, stir, and boil gently for 4-5 minutes. Then quickly strain the mixture through a fine sieve and fill the jars to the brim. Seal tightly immediately. This yields approximately six 200 ml jars.
